Stereophonic EQP brings the broad, musical behavior of classic Pultec-style EQ designs into a modern AIR plugin workflow. Inspired by the sonic character of EQP-1A and MEQ-5 models, it gives you low, low-mid, high-mid, high, and high-pass filter control in one approachable EQ designed for musical decisions rather than clinical correction.
Use it gently to add polish or more assertively to shape the character of individual tracks, group buses, and full mixes. Its wide EQ curves make it easy to enhance tone with confidence, while the expanded mid bands and adjustable high-pass filter add flexibility for modern production needs.
Stereo and Mid & Side Shaping for Modern Mixes
Switch between Stereo and Mid/Side processing modes to shape a mix with more precision. In Stereo mode, Stereophonic EQP works like a traditional tonal shaping tool. In Mid/Side mode, you can shape center and side information separately, making it useful for buses, mastering, and stereo-aware tone control.
This expanded workflow gives producers and mix engineers a modernized approach to classic EQ character, pairing familiar analog-inspired curves with the kind of stereo control expected in contemporary production.
